I’m working on a new map right now. Like all my illustrated maps, it’s a compulsive sort of project—and a fun one!
I’ve been having a lovely, pleasantly busy summer so far. A few weeks ago, my sister and I went to New York to visit two friends from high school. Last weekend, with four days off for the Fourth, Jason and I went on a 30-mile bike ride with our friend Britt, as well as a boat ride with Jason’s family. On Independence Day itself, we drove to Red Wing to hang out with friends (two of whom moved to Red Wing last year to open a super cool comic shop) and see a Beatles cover band.
This weekend is shaping up to be a little quieter, and that is just fine too! More time to get obsessive about my maps.
