Jason and I have been looking at houses for about a month now. We’ve made offers on two, but so far no dice. It’s a tough real estate market here in Minneapolis! Who knew? (Everybody.)
Despite the fact that, for now, buying a home remains an elusive goal, it’s gotten me thinking about how bittersweet it will be to leave our current apartment. We’ve been living here since the summer of 2014, and it is truly the apartment of my dreams. While I know that owning a house will bring its own excitement, I’m taking this time to appreciate all the things I love about this apartment. For that reason, here is a portrait of me in my home office/studio.
