The Twin Cities Book Festival is this Saturday! It is hosted by Rain Taxi, and it is great. I’ve attended the show a few times in the past, but this is my first time as an exhibitor. Also exhibiting this year are a plethora of talented writers and artists, local and foreign. And admission is free. It’s going to be a great show. You should definitely come. Here are the basics:
Twin Cities Book Festival
Saturday October 15, 10am-5pm
Minnesota State Fairgrounds
1265 Snelling Ave, St Paul, MN 55108
FREE ADMISSION
I will have copies of the following books:
Fear and Transportation
Paperback, 62 pages, 5.25″ x 8.25″
Action Athena: The First Three Or So Years
Paperback, 342 pages, 9″ x 7″
Horizon Anthology, Vol. 1
Paperback, 144 pages, 11.25″ x 7″
Game On: The Respawn Anthology
Paperback, 144 pages, 6″ x 9″
I will likely also have copies of some of my other comics for sale. Maybe The Revenge Sketchbook, maybe Mailings, maybe my sketchbook collection. It will largely depend on which boxes I happen to pull out of storage tonight.
I also plan to bring some quarter-size minis to trade or give away. I did that at Zinefest this year, and it was a blast. I got lots of cool minis from other people, and had some great conversations about comics, writing, feminism, etc. Here’s to more of the same at Rain Taxi!
