The poor gentleman in this comic, I think he thought it would hurt my feelings that he was trying to sell my book to the store. Really, I was excited! Whenever someone brought in a stack of indie comics to sell, heavy on the local stuff, part of me wondered, “could there be an Action Athena in there?” And there never was, until my very last closing shift! It made my night.
