This is a comic from December 2011. I drew it shortly after moving into my own teeny little one-bedroom apartment in St Paul. I remember feeling old and boring a lot during that time. These days, I still often feel old and boring, but I think I feel less old and boring than I did during the winter of 2011. There’s some comfort in remembering that feeling old can come and go in waves.
Anyway, I went to a wedding in Seattle over the weekend and had a great time, but now I’ve got a cold. Boo! For that reason, it will likely be a boring, old, uncool work week, but that sounds pretty nice right now.
