This was our second Savannah apartment. A carriage house, over a hundred years old, right off of Oglethorpe Square. I saw the Owens-Thomas House every morning when I walked through the square to my student job at the Jen Library.
It was only two rooms, but it had charm in spades. The most charming part of all was the courtyard full of flowers, tended to by our downstairs neighbor, Butch. He took the plants with him when he moved out (shortly before we did), so this courtyard is probably far less charming right now. Butch made it magical!
