Here is a comic I drew in May 2012. It’s still one of my favorites from the Action Athena days, and I had fun turning it into this single-panel format.
I’m still kind of obsessed with the way one can go from feeling deeply understood by another person, to not feeling understood at all. Like, “Who was that person? Did I invent the version of them I wanted to see? Or did they change? Or did I?” And on and on until you’ve driven yourself a little crazy. Anyway, I still like this comic.
