I’ve been making a lot of patterns lately. It was only recently that I figured out the “real” way to make patterns in Photoshop. I had a more old school way of doing this before (I like doing repeating patterns on the inside covers of my mini-comics), but it’s more fun now that I know a “real” way.
It’s satisfying to make these because they’re like a lazy person’s puzzle. It doesn’t matter exactly how the objects fit into the pattern. It just has to generally look okay, without too many weird gaps.
